I came back an hour or so later and was able to do the puzzle, but then when I tried to copy the link to the solution, it seemed to freeze again. So in my desperation I clicked a few extra times, and now I see that I am listed five or six times as a solver. Sorry!
Thanks for the report, Bob. The server was down for a while, I got Ralph to restart it. Ralph does not know why the server is crashing these days. I forwarded your comments to Ralph, in case it is related to the server problems.

@BobK - if you have any details regarding having multiple solutions posted, that would be helpful. Do you get an error box saying the up-load failed? Have you changed your browser software?
Thanks for the reply, Bob. Ralph thinks the database holding all the solutions might be getting too large, he would like to trim it down. My theory is that the request to post a solution is not responding to the web request in time, but still working in the background. If you get no response when posting a solution, can you wait for 10 or 15 seconds, then click the show solvers button, and see if your solution was posted. You may see your solution, even though you did not get a response. Let me know if this happens. Thanks for helping out!! Not sure why you are the only runt solver to suffer from this. Hopefully we can get the web server stable again.

@Kirk: Your Maui comment is correct, for the first half of the answer — but so also is the Oahu part of the clue, which was referencin the entire answer. Hope that makes sense, without me givin too much away. M&A
@M&A, As usual, you are 100 %correct. The Oahu part is totally unknown to me as is the author, which led to my confusion. I have checked out both and now the clue makes sense, after reading and comparing to another theme answer. Sorry for the confusion, enjoy your weekend.

@M&A I think it generates that message if sql times out looking for a puz. I see how long it takes to upload a solution to the sql database, or to show solvers. If that is slow responding, puzzle crowd is not running properly. I restarted the web server again, it seems a bit better, but it could crash again. I am keeping my eye on it. Kirk

@M&A - I thought I checked puzzle crowd this morning, I just looked and saw it was down. I have restarted it now. I see your post on Rex's blog. I think it has been down all day.

@Kirk: Your Maui comment is correct, for the first half of the answer — but so also is the Oahu part of the clue, which was referencin the entire answer.

@M&A I think it generates that message if sql times out looking for a puz. I see how long it takes to upload a solution to the sql database, or to show solvers. If that is slow responding, puzzle crowd is not running properly. I restarted the web server again, it seems a bit better, but it could crash again. I am keeping my eye on it.
