    @M&A, just to clarify, I just look after the blog now, @r.alph still has all the clever web stuff that he created (e.g. puzzle crowd server & web pages). We did not talk about that subject, besides I know nothing about web servers. We would still need @r.alph if the puzzlecrowd web server crashes.

      @BobK. - I’m not an expert on all the scoring rules. Is the time shown for when the error occurred, maybe? And then the total time shown by the puz app is for maybe after the error was corrected? Dunno. Sounds like a good question for @r.alph.

      I believe the time registered is when the check button is first used. For instance, @Kirk's official time on the solver's page is 8 minutes but his actual solve time was 10 minutes, 10 seconds. But his status is "incorrect when checked" so my guess is he tried to check at 7 minutes and something and went on to spend another 3 minutes solving.
