  26. M&A sincerely wishes all runtpuz solvers the very best in the ACPT next weekend. This here is a Big-Grid crossword that I made up, so runtsolvers could get some crucial ACPT-sized practice.
    Recommended time limit: 30 minutes.

    I know this puz size could be an awful shock to some runtpuz regulars' systems -- but it is for yer own good! To make U feel slightly more comfortable, I have given it a more runtpuz-reminiscent title, and put a couple of usual-suspect landmarks in there …

This is the "challenge" equivalent roughly of a biter runt on steroids that has gone over to the dark side. 76. Thanks to all at runtpuz, especially M&A, for a year of tough training for the ACPT.

    I set a personal achievement this year, finishing all seven puzzles with every letter correct. (Yeah, yeah, maybe the puzzles were easier.)

    My standing (at present, subject to changes as judges respond to complaints) is 217 of the approx 524 who finished all the puzzles, or right in the middle where I am supposed to be.

    For most of those who attend, the ACPT is more about socializing with others who love words and games much more than the competition and prizes. I hope that those who solved at home had fun doing it, too.

      Glad to hear folks generally liked this scruffy lil experiment. Thanx, to all the folks who dumped their artwork and photos on the Internet as Google-accessible pics, so that M&A could do this runtpuz.

    @r.alph: Been thinkin powerful hard about yer "clue-imbedded pic url" programmin enhancement. If U go for it, here's M&A's thought-bullets:

    1. Program could remove clue-url-flag and url from Down-Home runtpuz clue, but probably needs to leave the clue alone, in the AcrossLite runtpuz clue version. Otherwise, A-L solvers wouldn't know how to view the pic.
    2. Ergo, maybe the runtpuz clue-url-flag part oughta be somethin that makes sense to A-L solvers, as is. How about: "**PIC is at:", for the clue-url flag text, or somesuch?
    3. Example:
    {This guy **PIC is at: http://puzzlecrowd.com/kf/whoever.jpg}
